NICU CARE PACKAGES
Wright's Way Foundation has donated hundreds of NICU Care Packages since forming our non-profit in 2018. Our NICU Care Packages provide the essentials needed for families during their time in the NICU.
There is no charge for our NICU Care Packages.
NICU PARENT SUPPORT GROUP
Our monthly NICU Parent Support Group, held in a separate room as part of the Strong Beginnings Circle, provides a welcoming, judgment-free space for families currently experiencing the NICU journey or recently discharged. Parents have the opportunity to share their experiences, process emotions, receive encouragement, and connect with others who understand the unique challenges of having a baby in the NICU.
ASK A DOULA
Ask-a-Doula is a conversation opportunity offered during the Strong Beginnings Circle, where a trained doula will be present at each gathering to support families. During this time, parents can ask questions about pregnancy, postpartum recovery, feeding support, birth experiences, and transitioning home from the NICU.
Families can:
-
receive guidance in a supportive Q&A setting
-
learn about postpartum health and recovery
-
explore birth and parenting support options
-
connect with a doula for resources and referrals
MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH SCREENINGS
Our Strong Beginnings Circle includes monthly Maternal Mental Health Screenings, offering a safe and confidential space for parents to check in on their emotional well-being. These screenings are available to anyone who would like to participate, whether they are expecting, postpartum, or supporting a growing family. Screenings help identify stress, anxiety, depression, and postpartum challenges early, and connect families to appropriate resources, support, and follow-up care.
NICU ALUMNI MEET UP
Our NICU Alumni Meet-Up brings families together after discharge to reconnect, celebrate milestones, and continue building community. These gatherings provide ongoing emotional support while helping parents and caregivers feel seen, encouraged, and supported beyond the hospital stay.
NICU to 12 MONTHS
The NICU to 12 Months Program is our wrap-around support pathway designed to walk alongside families from the NICU through baby’s first year of life. This program bridges hospital discharge, postpartum support, and ongoing family wellness.
Program support may include:
-
connection to peer and parent support spaces
-
care resources and mental health navigation
-
milestone and wellness check-ins
-
alumni community engagement
-
referral and partner connections
Our goal is to ensure families feel supported, informed, and connected, not just while in the NICU, but throughout the critical first year.
